Optima Energy has been added to the list of companies distributing and selling petroleum products from the Dangote refinery, joining existing partners MRS, Heyden, and Ardova Plc.

The Dangote Group announced Optima Energy’s inclusion on Tuesday, as the refinery reduced its petrol price to N825 per litre at the gantry. It also directed its partners to sell at rates below N900 per litre, depending on location.

According to the company, MRS Holdings stations will sell Dangote petrol at N860 per litre in Lagos, N870 in the South-West, N880 in the North, and N890 in the South-South and South-East regions. At Ardova Petroleum (AP) and Heyden stations, the prices will be N865 in Lagos, N875 in the South-West, N885 in the North, and N895 in the South-South and South-East. Optima Energy will offer Dangote’s petrol at the same rates as Heyden and Ardova.

Meanwhile, Nigerians have urged the refinery to expand its distribution network by partnering with more companies to ensure wider availability of its petrol across the country
