PalmPay Partners Sochitel to Launch Discount Gift Card Promo for Millions of Users
Share

PalmPay, one of Nigeria’s top fintech platforms, has teamed up with global digital product distributor Sochitel to launch a new in-app Gift Card promotion, offering users an easier and more rewarding way to shop for top brands.

Running from April through June 2025, the promotion allows PalmPay users to enjoy instant discounts of up to 5% on every gift card purchase directly within the app. The initiative covers a wide variety of popular local and international brands, including Apple, Amazon, SPAR, PlayStation, Steam, Walmart, Adidas, and Nigeria’s own Oriki.

According to PalmPay’s Head of Marketing & Communications, the initiative reflects the platform’s commitment to expanding its digital offerings while delivering added value to its user base. He noted that PalmPay already provides a broad suite of financial and lifestyle services, and this new gift card feature further positions the app as an all-in-one platform for everyday digital transactions.

Sochitel’s Head of Marketing also praised the collaboration, highlighting the company’s role in connecting African users with top-tier digital products globally. He described the partnership with PalmPay as a way to bring seamless and meaningful digital commerce experiences to more Nigerians.

To enjoy the promotion, users simply need to log in to the PalmPay app, navigate to the “Gift Cards” section, select a brand and amount, and complete the purchase—all within a few taps. The instant discount is automatically applied at checkout.

With digital adoption rising across Nigeria, both companies see this partnership as a timely move to meet the growing demand for flexible, cashless gifting and personal purchases. The offer is expected to drive increased user engagement while positioning PalmPay as a go-to platform for not just financial services but lifestyle convenience as well.
