Parallex Bank has rewarded 154 customers in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, with cash prizes, airtime, and other gifts in its ongoing Save and Win promo. The highlight of the event was Idara Amos Attai, a trader, who emerged as the grand prize winner of ₦1 million.

The promo, launched to encourage a culture of savings among Nigerians, saw 50 customers receive ₦5,000 airtime, 50 win ₦10,000 in cash, 30 get ₦20,000, 20 claim ₦50,000 each, and three walk away with ₦100,000. A total of ₦3.65 million was distributed during the live draw, which took place in Uyo on Thursday.

Speaking at the event, Maryanne Cephas, Uyo Branch Manager of Parallex Bank, reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to rewarding and supporting its customers. She noted that Parallex Bank prioritizes customer satisfaction and financial empowerment.

“Parallex Bank is here to appreciate our loyal customers. Our interest rates are very attractive, and we support both small and large businesses,” she said.

Cephas encouraged existing customers to introduce others to Parallex Bank, highlighting the bank’s dedication to business growth. She also praised the enthusiasm of customers in Uyo, noting that the overwhelming participation demonstrated trust in the bank’s initiatives.

“Customers in Uyo have really supported Parallex Bank, and in return, we have rewarded many—making one of them a millionaire today. This is just the first round; another draw will be coming soon. Parallex Bank aims to create more millionaires, so now is the time for people to open accounts, save money, and get ready to win,” she added.

Abdulazeez Arogundade, Parallex Bank’s Head of Products, provided details of the draw, emphasizing that the Save and Win promo was designed to reward customer loyalty, especially during challenging economic times.

“This initiative is our way of giving back to those who trust us with their savings. The promo, which began in October 2024, will continue until April 2025, with two more major draws in Abuja and Lagos. Customers who save at least ₦10,000 monthly qualify for the draws,” he explained.

Arogundade urged both existing and potential customers to take advantage of the promo, stressing that the bank remains committed to financial empowerment through innovative banking solutions.

Uchegbu Chukwuma, a representative of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission, praised Parallex Bank for ensuring transparency in the selection process. He commended the bank’s integrity in conducting the live draws, assuring participants of a fair process.

Expressing her excitement, grand prize winner Idara Amos Attai attributed her win to divine favor, saying she never expected to become a millionaire.

“This is the Lord’s doing, and I am grateful. Parallex Bank has truly kept its promise, and I believe this promo will attract more people to the bank,” she said.

Aside from the main raffle draw, over 20 participants who engaged in a quiz session also won various gift items, adding to the excitement of the event.

As Parallex Bank continues to reward loyalty and promote a savings culture, anticipation grows for the next draws. With Abuja and Lagos set to host the remaining rounds, customers are encouraged to save, participate, and stand a chance to win big.
