Share

Polaris Bank, renowned as Nigeria’s leading digital retail bank, has joined hands with Eventful Limited to present the 2023 season-end edition of The Fashion Souk 9.0. Set to unfold at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos, on December 2nd and 3rd, this event stands as Nigeria’s premier marketplace for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the fashion industry.

The event will spotlight four key industries: manufacturers, leather, retailers, and jewelry & accessories, presenting an opportunity for SMEs to showcase their goods and services to a broad audience.

Over 140 established SMEs from Nigeria’s fashion, leather, and jewelry sectors, spanning manufacturers, retailers, and dealers, will participate. This platform allows them to exhibit their creativity and unique offerings.

Attendees can anticipate an immersive experience, featuring a diverse array of products, inspiring fashion shows, and networking opportunities with industry experts.

The collaboration aligns with Polaris Bank’s unwavering focus on SMEs and commitment to various critical sectors in Nigeria’s economy. The bank has provided support in areas such as health, education, manufacturing, agriculture, export, and more, offering credits for essential equipment, working capital, expansion, and logistics.

Market Insights:

Recent estimates value the Sub-Saharan fashion market at $31 billion, with Nigeria contributing 15% to this market. Additionally, the global fashion industry was valued at $1.53 trillion in 2022, with forecasts predicting revenue growth to surpass $1.7 trillion in 2023.

Polaris Bank’s digital-forward approach and support for MSMEs have earned it prestigious accolades, including being named Nigeria’s Digital Bank of the Year for three consecutive years (2021-2023) and Nigeria’s Best MSME Bank of the Year. These awards reflect the bank’s dedication to leveraging technology to empower the MSME sector.

As a digitally-driven institution, Polaris Bank remains committed to reshaping businesses and communities through innovative partnerships, focusing on customer-centric solutions and fostering a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem.
