President Tinubu Launches National Single Window Initiative to Enhance Trade in Nigeria
Share

President Bola Tinubu has unveiled the National Single Window initiative, a transformative project aimed at propelling Nigeria’s economy to new heights.

The initiative, launched at the State House, promises to simplify government trade compliance through a digital platform, linking ports, government agencies, and stakeholders to create a seamless and efficient trade system.

President Tinubu highlighted the benefits of the initiative, including unlocking economic prosperity and saving businesses time and resources. He emphasized the need to address existing complexities and inefficiencies in trade processes to attract investment and spur economic growth.

While acknowledging the challenges ahead, President Tinubu expressed full commitment to seeing the project through, calling for collaboration and dedication from all stakeholders.

Mr. Zacch Adedeji, Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), emphasized the importance of data harmonization and stakeholder collaboration for the success of the project, heralding a new era of economic prosperity and efficiency for Nigeria.
