Project Advance Expands Support for Women Entrepreneurs, Boosts Business Growth
Share

Project Advance, a flagship sustainability initiative focused on empowering female entrepreneurs and strengthening communities, has intensified its empowerment drive through personalized business support and immersive capacity-building workshops.

The programme, powered by Celebrations, a brand committed to helping people express care through gifts and meaningful gestures, provides women-owned small businesses with access to expert mentorship, essential resources, and practical market opportunities to help them scale sustainably.

At the core of Project Advance is the belief that when women rise, communities thrive. The Chief Executive Officer of Celebrations, Dele Balogun, said the initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 8, which promotes decent work and economic growth through entrepreneurship and inclusion.

Since its launch, Balogun noted that Project Advance has empowered more than 50 female entrepreneurs and helped scale over 70 small businesses, resulting in the creation of more than 100 new jobs. He added that participating enterprises have recorded an 85 per cent improvement in sustainability, demonstrating the project’s impact in driving long-term business resilience.

“Project Advance is helping women not only grow their enterprises but also share their stories, stories of strength, vision, and heart,” Balogun said. “This is just the beginning. We remain committed to building meaningful pathways for women to thrive, express their purpose, and create legacies that touch lives across generations.”

As Project Advance expands its reach, Celebrations continues to redefine sustainability by placing people, purpose, and empowerment at the heart of lasting social and economic impact.
