QNET, a global direct-selling company focused on wellness and lifestyle, has successfully trained over 8,000 Nigerian youths in direct selling skills, equipping them with tools for financial independence and entrepreneurial opportunities.
The direct-selling market, valued at $167.7 billion in 2023, is set to grow to $204.9 billion by 2032, offering Nigeria a significant opportunity to tap into this expanding sector. This growth presents the potential for job creation, skill development, and economic advancement in the country.
At a recent product expo in Lagos, Biram Fall, QNET’s regional general manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, shared the company’s plans to increase its presence in Nigeria. Fall highlighted the rapid growth of Nigeria’s direct-selling market and reiterated QNET’s commitment to ethical business practices and compliance with local regulations. “Our innovative business model, which blends direct selling and e-commerce, enables us to offer products that enhance lives and promote well-being,” Fall said.
QNET aims to empower individuals by providing quality products and business solutions to foster entrepreneurship. Through its Independent Representative (IR) system, Nigerians can market products, earn commissions, and build sustainable income streams without significant capital investment or office space. Akeem Ajisafe, CEO of Transblue Limited and QNET partner, emphasized that the company’s model empowers individuals and opens doors to endless opportunities for youth.
Commander Mitchell Ofoyeju of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at Tincan Island Post also commended QNET’s initiatives, noting that the company’s diverse product offerings, including health products, cosmetics, luxury watches, and jewelry, contribute to youth development and crime prevention. “QNET’s business model provides young Nigerians with alternative income sources, promoting productivity and reducing the allure of illicit activities,” Ofoyeju said.
With its focus on economic empowerment, ethical practices, and skill development, QNET’s initiatives are positioned to transform Nigeria’s direct-selling sector and provide valuable opportunities for its youth, contributing to a healthier, more productive society.
