African Food Industry Conference 2nd Edition set to hold in Lagos (Register)

Announcing the second edition of African Food Industry Conference which is the single largest gathering of food professionals across Africa. This Conference is aimed at showcasing the rich diversity of African foods and also to promote its growth and finding a solution to the raging food crises in Africa and the world in general.

The event will take place on 29th and 30th of November from 10am to 3pm daily in the city of Lagos, Nigeria .

Interested participants and the general public are advised to register online via the registration link to be a part of the conference.

John Okwubi, CEO at Pearl Royale Farms, Makurdi , Nigeria, had the following to say about the upcoming conference: “I must mention that, the conference’s theme is interesting and timely owing to the glaring impacts of climate change, with effects such as flooding, which we currently battling across some parts of Nigeria. There is the potential for food crisis, thus, leading us to the very question “What is the Future of Food in Africa?”

Adebambo Gbesan, the Conference Coordinator and CEO of Mulberry Kitchen and Food City,

Lagos, explain that “the upcoming conference was borne out of the need for the continent of Africa as a whole need to come together to address and proffer solution to the raging food crisis”

Dr. Comfort Olutola of The Modern Milkman, United Kingdom added that I’m most passionate about agriculture and creating healthy food systems not just in the world but especially in Africa. I hope to learn as much as contribute to the success of the conference.
