A brand new lifestyle and entertainment TV show, ShowBuzz has made a grand entry into Nigerian TV on the network service of Africa’s largest TV network, the Nigerian Television Authority.

Targeted at Nigeria’s large multicultural audience and leveraging NTA’s unrivalled viewership of over 27 million TV boxes across the country, ShowBuzz is driven by the best of music videos, events, movie review, sports, celebrity expose and news.

Its variety of segments include the #BuzzFeature, Buzz video chart, #AcrossNigeria, #TopSkit, e-news, #FreshBuzz, fans’ request and many more carefully designed for family consumption.

#AcrossNigeria is a segment that provides information about people, places, and cultures across the country as way of educating the audience and promoting local tourism with emphasis on both the modern and historic.

The #TopSkit segment is dedicated to promoting comedians, actors and other content creators. It features standout skits from social media with the orginal creator’s handle.

#BuzzFeature brings exciting sights and sounds from the best of events, behind the scenes from movie sets, music video making, celebrity interviews as well as unplugged sessions with budding talents.

“We created ShowBuzz as a response to the yearnings of millions of young Nigerians and brands for more music, entertainment and lifestyle programming with a good blend of cerebral content.

“Going by its tagline ‘Live life happy’ you can be sure we have found a way to ensure that the youthful, high energy exciting features are top notch without losing our vision to be educative,” said the content creator, KENIakintoye.

ShowBuzz has promised to maintain its pan-Nigerian content outlook with ample coverage of Kannywood, the northern music industry and other thriving sections of the Nigerian entertainment industry.

Catch Showbuzz every Friday 2:30pm and Monday 12:30am via your DSTV, Startimes and GoTV as well as ALL local NTA stations across the 36 states and the FCT.
