In a strategic collaboration, Ayoba, the innovative all-in-one app, has partnered with Adanian Labs to launch an SME Accelerator program aimed at empowering and accelerating the growth of small businesses in Nigeria. This groundbreaking initiative comes at a crucial time when Nigerian SMEs play a vital role in driving economic growth and job creation within the country.

The SME Accelerator program seeks to address the key challenges faced by small businesses, including limited access to capital, technology infrastructure, market opportunities, and mentorship. By leveraging the comprehensive features of Ayoba’s all-in-one app, which include messaging, hyperlocal content, gaming, music, and e-commerce, combined with Adanian Labs’ expertise in technology solutions and ecosystem development, the accelerator program will provide Nigerian SMEs with vital resources to overcome barriers and achieve sustainable growth.

Through tailored mentorship, access to funding opportunities, and technological support, the accelerator aims to equip Nigerian SMEs with the tools they need to thrive in the digital age. The program is scheduled to officially launch on Monday, July 10, and interested businesses will have a two-week application window, with the top 20 selected participants to be announced. Applications will be accepted through the Adanian Labs website.

With small and medium enterprises accounting for over 90% of businesses in Africa and contributing significantly to employment and GDP, this program holds immense potential for the Nigerian economy. In Nigeria alone, SMEs represent approximately 96% of businesses, playing a pivotal role in driving innovation and economic progress while employing millions of people.

Sheila Yabo, Head of Ecosystem Development at Ayoba, emphasized the transformative impact of empowering Nigerian SMEs. By strengthening this sector, the country can experience accelerated economic growth, increased job opportunities, and enhanced competitiveness on the global stage. Supporting small businesses not only fosters entrepreneurship and drives innovation but also contributes to wealth creation, ultimately improving Nigeria’s socio-economic landscape.

The partnership between Ayoba and Adanian Labs in launching the SME Accelerator program marks a significant milestone in fostering innovation, driving entrepreneurship, and contributing to economic empowerment. This collaboration aims to unlock the potential of Nigerian SMEs, drive economic prosperity, and create sustainable development opportunities. Together, they aspire to position Nigeria as a hub for SME growth and development, fueling the nation’s overall progress.
