T33 Academy, a leading institution in live production education, has announced the commencement of its latest cohort, offering young Africans an opportunity to turn their passion for live production into successful careers.

The academy’s curriculum, taught by industry experts, provides hands-on training and cutting-edge knowledge in the entertainment industry. Students will learn from seasoned professionals, gaining insight into the latest trends and tools shaping live production.

Chichi Nwoko, CEO of WHAT Media Group, expressed excitement about the new cohort, stating, “This program offers a life-changing opportunity for young Nigerians to develop high-demand skills in the live production industry. We are passionate about empowering our youths and providing them a platform to succeed in sports and entertainment production.”

Applications are now open on the T33 website for aspiring trainees from 20 Nigerian states. Selected candidates will receive hands-on training at T33 Academy’s facility in Ikenne, Ogun State, with all expenses covered. After graduating, successful trainees will join the Team33 production team, applying their skills for further career development.

“We are committed to providing hands-on experience and ensuring our trainees are well-prepared to excel in live production,” Nwoko added. “Through our partnerships with industry leaders, including the Bet9ja Foundation, we are setting a new standard for live production in Nigeria.”

Ada Cuomo, VP & Trustee of the Bet9ja Foundation, commented on the partnership, stating, “We are proud to partner with T33 Academy to train students across Nigeria in live television production, focusing on sports and entertainment. At Bet9ja Foundation, we believe in education and skills development as a catalyst for change. This initiative reflects our commitment to empowering Nigerian youth with practical skills and knowledge.”

She emphasized the foundation’s goal of enhancing employability and strengthening Nigeria’s creative industry, saying, “We look forward to seeing the incredible impact this training will have on participants and, ultimately, on our nation.”
