TFN Partners Foundation, Stakeholders to Empower Education Innovators Across Nigeria

Teach For Nigeria (TFN) has concluded the 2025 edition of its Incubation Hub Pitch Competition, an initiative designed to empower alumni of the TFN Fellowship Program to transform their “Be The Change” projects into scalable education-focused social enterprises.

Held in Lagos, the event brought together key stakeholders, industry leaders, and development partners to support 12 pioneering alumni who pitched innovative solutions targeted at addressing Nigeria’s critical education challenges.

Chief Executive Officer of Teach For Nigeria (TFN), Molade Adeniyi, said the Incubation Hub was launched to serve as a platform for alumni leading educational change beyond the Fellowship, equipping them with practical tools, enterprise development support, mentorship, and access to funding to accelerate their impact.

“The Incubation Hub is part of Teach For Nigeria’s commitment to empowering our alumni to lead systemic change. Earlier this year, we welcomed 30 outstanding early-stage social entrepreneurs selected from a competitive pool of 87 applicants. Over the last three months, participants received targeted enterprise development training and strategic support to refine their solutions into scalable and sustainable models,” she said.

Since the program’s launch in 2020, TFN has supported over 60 education-focused projects, provided more than N10 million in seed funding, and impacted over 2,500 educators and 15,000 children across Nigeria.

The 2025 cohort featured 12 finalists developing innovations across five major themes: EdTech and Digital Learning, Gender Equality/Inclusive Education, Climate and Environment, Teacher and School Development, and Data-Driven Education & Policy.

The National Convening brought together foundations, private-sector players, and ecosystem partners committed to strengthening support systems for early-stage education innovators, ensuring more problem-solvers can scale, reach underserved communities, and build long-term solutions that improve learning outcomes nationwide.

Through the Incubation Hub and strategic collaboration with foundations and stakeholders, Teach For Nigeria maintains that empowering educators and innovators remains crucial to transforming the future of education in Nigeria.
