United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc is set to host another edition of its Business Series, reinforcing its dedication to the growth and sustainability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across Africa. The upcoming session, titled **“Built to Last: Building Generational Business,”** will take place on Thursday at the Tony Elumelu Amphitheatre in UBA House, Marina, Lagos. Additionally, the event will be accessible to online participants via Zoom.

The session will feature insights from prominent industry leaders, including Flora Mutahi, Founder/CEO of Melvin Marsh International; Atunyota Ali Baba A., CEO of XQZMOI Television; Tolani Tayo-Osikoya (Chef T), CEO of Diaryofakitchenlover Studio; and renowned photographer Kelechi Amadi-Obi. These experts will share their strategies for building businesses that endure over time and thrive even in challenging environments.

Shamsideen Fashola, UBA’s Group Head of Retail and Digital Banking, emphasized the significance of this edition, noting that it offers a valuable opportunity for SMEs to learn from entrepreneurs who have successfully built and sustained businesses through various economic climates.

“This edition provides a platform for SMEs to learn from experienced entrepreneurs who have built and sustained businesses through the decades. Hearing their stories and strategies will be invaluable for any business owner looking to build a lasting enterprise,” Fashola stated.

Alero Ladipo, UBA’s Group Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the bank’s commitment to supporting businesses of all sizes. She remarked that the Business Series is one of the many ways UBA demonstrates its dedication to its diverse customer base, particularly in the current financial landscape.

“At UBA, we are committed to empowering businesses of all sizes, and this Business Series is one way we are fulfilling that commitment. We have assembled an esteemed panel of speakers who will share their wealth of experience and insights on building a generational business. This is a must-attend event for anyone serious about the long-term success of their enterprise,” Ladipo said.

The UBA Business Series continues to be a critical platform for knowledge sharing, aiming to equip businesses with the tools and strategies needed to achieve long-term success.
