The U.S. African Development Foundation (USADF) has announced a new call for proposals, offering grant financing and local support to African-owned enterprises, agricultural cooperatives, and producer groups.
The initiative seeks to identify and empower innovative, community-led solutions that enhance local capacity, create jobs, increase farmer incomes, and drive sustainable, market-based growth across the continent.
According to the foundation, successful applicants may be awarded up to $250,000 in grant funding to scale their operations, improve productivity, and build long-term economic resilience.
Who Can Apply?
Eligible applicants include:
- Registered agricultural cooperatives
- Small-scale producer groups
- Agricultural processors
…operating directly in eligible sectors and countries outlined by USADF.
The program is especially suited for organizations that are community-rooted, African-led, and focused on value addition, market access, and inclusive business models.
Grassroots Growth, Global Impact
USADF’s grant model emphasizes grassroots partnerships, working hand-in-hand with local entities to deliver African-driven solutions to African challenges. The foundation’s core mission is to invest in underserved communities by empowering them to develop their own capacity for sustainable growth.
Organizations selected for funding will also receive technical assistance and local support to ensure the long-term success and impact of their projects.
Interested organizations are encouraged to submit their proposals through the official USADF website, where full eligibility requirements, sector focus, and submission guidelines are available.
