Verve, Google Play Partner to Extend VerveLife 8.0 Across Africa

Verve, Africa’s leading domestic payments card scheme and a subsidiary of Interswitch Group, has teamed up with Google Play to deliver the eighth edition of VerveLife, Africa’s largest and most celebrated fitness event series.

The new partnership, framed as a lifestyle activation, further deepens Verve’s growing collaboration with the Google ecosystem. Scheduled for November 1, 2025, VerveLife 8.0 promises an upgraded experience for fitness enthusiasts across the continent.

Interswitch Group’s Executive Vice President for Marketing and Communications, Cherry Eromosele, said the collaboration signals a renewed commitment to raising the bar for the event. She noted that participants can look forward to exclusive complimentary merchandise, rewards, and incentives powered by Verve and Google Play, alongside the usual mix of fitness, wellness, and community experiences that have defined the event over the years.

According to Eromosele, the aim is not just to deliver a fitness event but to build a platform that inspires healthier lifestyles and stronger community bonds. “Our latest collaboration on the lifestyle front with Google Play points to unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional experiences that resonate deeply with fitness enthusiasts across Africa,” she said.

Now in its eighth year, VerveLife has steadily grown into a continental brand, uniting Africa’s fitness community through a blend of exercise, entertainment, and lifestyle offerings. With Google Play now on board, organizers say the 2025 edition will be the most exhilarating

yet.
