Olusegun Adeniyi, the Chief Digital Officer of Wema Bank Plc, has stated that it is crucial to create a roadmap that will encourage more women to enter the digital industry.

He delivered a speech at the Lagos SheCan Conference in 2022 on the subject of “She can achieve more in technology,” according to a statement.

He asserted that increasing engagement by women will address the gender variety and imbalance in the digital sphere and boost global wealth.

To address the current underrepresentation of women in the sector, Adeniyi identified a number of areas where they may participate.

“Opportunities for women in the digital sector include cloud computing, green economy, sales, product development, content production and writing,” he said.

Other opportunities, according to him, were marketing, e-commerce, product development, and digital healthcare services, among others.
