Zoho Corporation has introduced Projects Plus, a new project management platform designed to improve collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and workflow efficiency for mid-sized and large enterprises.
The platform integrates four core Zoho applications—Projects, WorkDrive, Analytics, and Sprints—allowing businesses to manage projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. By leveraging AI-powered insights, real-time data analysis, and predictive forecasting, Projects Plus aims to streamline business operations and enhance project execution.
Zoho’s project management tools have witnessed remarkable growth, with Zoho Projects doubling its revenue in 2024. Notably, 55% of new users migrated from Microsoft Projects and JIRA, signaling a shift toward more integrated and cost-effective solutions. Projects Plus builds on this momentum, offering organizations a single platform that combines business intelligence, hybrid project management, and seamless collaboration tools.
Speaking on the launch, Zoho Nigeria’s Country Head, Kehinde Ogundare, emphasized the increasing need for integrated project management tools in a rapidly digitalizing business environment. He noted that Projects Plus not only consolidates key functionalities but also provides organizations with a scalable, data-driven approach to project execution.
“Project management tools must be ingrained into an organization’s overall software ecosystem. Projects Plus integrates analytics, collaboration tools, and multiple management methodologies into a single, customizable platform,” Ogundare said.
The platform’s AI-driven capabilities, powered by Zoho’s Zia AI engine, automate data analysis, identify inefficiencies, and optimize resource allocation. Businesses can now predict potential risks, anticipate project delays, and allocate resources more efficiently, leading to improved execution and cost savings.
A key feature of Projects Plus is its advanced data analytics and visualization tools, which allow organizations to track key performance indicators such as budgeting, task completion rates, and project deliverability metrics. The platform provides real-time dashboards, replacing traditional static tools like Gantt charts with dynamic insights that help managers detect and address bottlenecks as they arise.
By integrating AI-powered forecasting, Projects Plus enhances strategic decision-making. Organizations can now make data-backed adjustments to project timelines, costs, and resource allocation, reducing risks and ensuring more efficient project execution. Additionally, its business intelligence capabilities allow for quality control monitoring, ensuring that each project phase meets predefined standards.
Zoho’s move to launch Projects Plus aligns with its broader mission to provide enterprise-level software solutions at competitive pricing. The platform is available immediately at NGN7,200 per user per month when billed annually, representing a 27% discount compared to purchasing its integrated applications separately.
With a growing demand for intelligent, data-driven project management solutions, Projects Plus positions itself as a comprehensive tool for businesses looking to enhance efficiency, improve decision-making, and drive sustainable growth.
