Sterling Bank’s One Read Africa excites readers
Share

One Read Africa is virtual book platform where subscribers have access to a curated selection of fantastic books authored by Africans and released monthly. Books on the One Read application are available in e-book and audiobook format for 21 days.

One Read is Africa’s largest virtual book club with exciting new books by African writers, specially curated for African audiences.

A new book is posted on One Read every month. In June, readers were thrilled by Helon Habila’s latest novel, Travellers. In July, it was Mukoma wa Ngugi’s Novel We, the Scarred. This August, Yolande Mukagasana’s Novel Not My Time to Die is the Book of the Month.

Members can read alone, at their own paces, or go with the 21-day reading plan that lets them read/listen along with others. They can also create a book club and chat with other members in-app.

At the end of each reading cycle, members stand a chance to win book prizes for the reviews they leave in the One Read app. They can also listen to an exclusive author podcasts and films, all in the One Read app.

Monthly subscription costs $1.99 per month or an amazing discounted fee of $11.99 for annual subscribers.  Subscriptions can also be gifted to loved ones and other book-lovers.

One Read app can be downloaded on Google play and Appstore. It is powered by Sterling Bank and managed by Ouida Books.
