During a meeting with Abaachatpay’s Management and Board, Mr. Onesi-Lawani Daberuje, Chief Strategy Officer to the DG at SMEDAN, highlighted the challenge faced by Nigerian MSMEs in leveraging digital technologies. He stressed the importance of connecting with global advancements, emphasizing that despite abundant resources, Nigeria has yet to fully tap into regional and global opportunities.
Abaachatpay’s team pledged to create a user-friendly and cost-effective platform for MSMEs, aiming to empower the 39.6 million enumerated by SMEDAN and the National Bureau of Statistics. Their fintech solutions will offer access to global markets, simplified payment methods, and enjoyable interactions with clients.
