Global Leadership Institute Hosts Business Strategy Lounge to Trains Entrepreneurs Business Growth
Share

In a proactive move to drive organizational growth and strategic excellence, the Global Leadership Institute (GLI), a management consulting and human capacity development firm, successfully hosted its inaugural Business Strategy Lounge (BSL) in Lagos. The event gathered participants from various industries, fostering networking opportunities and interdisciplinary exchanges.

Kemi Lewis, the founder and creative director of KL’s Natural Beauty Bar, expressed appreciation for the event, emphasizing exposure to new concepts promising to enhance business management. The Business Strategy Lounge provided a platform for a mix of engaging teaching, advisory sessions, peer review, and practical implementation over eight hours.

GLI introduced the BSL Mastermind program during the event, a 12-month initiative designed to support businesses in executing and achieving their strategic goals. Abayomi Adewumi, the Managing Director of GLI, highlighted the program’s importance in addressing the challenging economic conditions faced by businesses.

Adewumi explained the unique approach of the BSL Mastermind program, focusing on comprehensive learning with a robust curriculum, practical workshops, and expert faculty. The goal is to help at least 10 businesses achieve over 1 billion Naira in growth by the end of 2024 through the program. The Mastermind program includes weekly and monthly calls, visits, and sessions for ongoing engagement, collaborative problem-solving, and strategic discussions.

The 10-hour training sessions covered various topics, including business assessment, strategy framework adoption, goal setting, leveraging technology for growth, and personal branding for business owners. Participants lauded the transformative impact of the BSL on their business strategies and personal outlooks, highlighting a shift in mindset and enhanced clarity in strategy formulation and execution planning.

With preparations already underway for the next edition in March, GLI aims to extend valuable support to more businesses, assisting them in navigating challenging economic times. The Business Strategy Lounge stands out as a platform committed to fostering business growth and strategic excellence.
