ACCENT-Spring Entrepreneurship Development Initiative unveils the Multi-Skill Teenpreneurship Programme (MSTP Africa) to equip teenagers in Ondo State with essential entrepreneurial skills.

CEO Wale Akinyanmi announces the provision of tools and equipment worth nearly N35 million to nine schools across the state’s three senatorial districts as part of the program’s launch at St. Louis Girls Grammar School, Akure.

MSTP, introduced in May 2023, aims to catalyze economic transformation by nurturing a skilled workforce capable of meeting the needs of Nigeria and Africa.

A project management office oversees vocational instructors trained by Master Trainers from LAHI, India, ensuring program effectiveness and sustainability through partnerships with schools’ associations, communities, and industry leaders.

Lawrence Afere, Co-Founder of MSTP, emphasizes the program’s goal of empowering youth to become solution providers through multi-skills education, supported by LAHI’s expertise in skills-based learning.

LAHI Co-Founder Ms. Sunanda Mane highlights the importance of hands-on learning for economic growth and competitiveness, envisioning MSTP’s expansion beyond the pilot phase to cover major schools in Ondo State and beyond.

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa commends LAHI and ACCENT Spring Entrepreneurship for their partnership, emphasizing the shift towards Science, Technology, and Entrepreneurship (STE) education to foster innovation and address societal challenges in Ondo State.
