Wema Bank Relaunches MSME Solutions for Seamless Payment and Collection

Wema Bank has unveiled its revamped Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) solutions, aiming to offer businesses and customers diverse and seamless collection and payment platforms.

The MSME collection and payment suite includes ALAT for Business, NQR, ALATPay, MyBusiness Card, and the Wema POS machine, providing both physical and contactless payment options.

ALAT for Business, Wema Bank’s dedicated digital app for business owners, facilitates bulk payments to up to 5,000 beneficiaries in one transaction, along with features like salary payments, invoice discounting, cash flow analysis, and FX transactions.

ALATPay, a payment gateway website, ensures instant confirmation for seamless payments, while Wema NQR enables faster contactless payments through ‘scan-to-pay’ QR Code options.

The Wema POS Machine allows businesses to accept card, transfer, and alternative point-of-sale payments effortlessly. MyBusinessCard, a business card offering priority service in branches, increased transaction limits, and discounted offers on ads and HR solutions, among others.

Ayodele Olojede, Wema Bank’s divisional head of retail and SME, emphasized the importance of these solutions in accelerating digital and MSME empowerment in Nigeria. She highlighted Wema Bank’s commitment to supporting MSMEs with viable solutions and resources, aiming to streamline business operations and drive profitability.

Olojede encouraged business owners to explore the full suite of solutions available at www.wemabank.com/sme/collections-and-payment for enhanced flexibility and efficiency in managing their businesses.
