The Youth 4 Policy (Y4P) Innovation Fellowship is designed to nurture young and emerging policymakers keen on transforming Uganda’s startup ecosystem. Y4P is seeking highly passionate and qualified individuals to conduct in-depth research and produce valuable, high-quality policy papers that will scale and support the emergence of Uganda’s nascent startup sector.
Requirements
Must be residents in Uganda (nationality not required)
Demonstrated interest in policy and innovation.
Suitable candidates may come from; Entrepreneurship, law, journalism, policy, technology, economics, engineering, business
Program Structure
Duration: 5 Months
Modules and Workshops: Structured training and interactive sessions
Mentorship: Bi-weekly check-ins with experienced mentors
Deliverables: Research and submission of a high-quality policy paper
Graduation Criteria
To graduate, fellows must;
Attend atleast 80% of the module days
Participate in at least 8 out of 12 mentorship sessions
