ALX Nigeria Celebrates Milestones in Tech Education and Career Development

ALX Nigeria Celebrates Milestones in Tech Education and Career Development

ALX Nigeria, a leading provider of tech and career development programs, has marked significant achievements from January to June 2024, showcasing its commitment to empowering Nigerian youths through cutting-edge education and training. The organization received an overwhelming 233,310 applications during this period, underscoring the growing demand for quality tech education and career opportunities in the country.

Throughout these six months, over 12,000 learners across various states in Nigeria successfully completed ALX Nigeria’s programs. These programs equipped participants with essential tech skills and knowledge, preparing them to excel in the competitive job market.

ALX Nigeria’s efforts in democratizing access to world-class tech learning have not gone unnoticed. The organization received multiple prestigious awards, including:

– EdTech Company of the Year from the GAGE Awards, recognizing its exceptional contributions to tech learning.
– Online Learning Platform of the Year at the Tech Unite Africa Awards for Excellence.
– Most Innovative EdTech Company of the Year** at the Titans of Tech Awards.

These accolades reflect ALX Nigeria’s dedication to innovation, excellence, and inclusivity in the education sector.

Ruby Igwe, General Manager of Sand Technologies and ALX Nigeria, expressed pride in these milestones, stating, “As we celebrate these remarkable achievements, ALX remains steadfast in its commitment to innovation, excellence, and inclusivity. We are poised to continue the growth trajectory, expanding our reach and impact in the coming months. With our focus on emerging technologies, industry partnerships, and learner-centric approaches, we are well-positioned to shape the future of tech and workforce development across Nigeria.”

Seun Babajide-Duroshola echoed this sentiment, emphasizing ALX Nigeria’s mission of empowering individuals through world-class tech and career programs. He also highlighted the organization’s strong emphasis on inclusion, community engagement, and social responsibility, achieved through partnerships with NGOs, schools, universities, and community groups to provide resources and support to underserved populations.
