Call For Applications: African World Heritage Fund Remote Internship 2025 (Monthly Stipend available)

The African World Heritage Fund is seeking an enthusiastic, creative and competent young individual to join our team as a Partnerships and Communication Intern. This position allows the Intern to use his or her skills and abilities in social media management, content development, communications, and partnerships, while contributing to the preservation and promotion of Africa’s rich and diverse cultural and natural heritage. This remote post is open to candidates from the African continent and the African Diaspora.

Stipend

  • The internship will last six (6) months and include a monthly stipend.

Eligibility

  • Be currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Heritage/Environmental Studies, or a related field.
  • Previous experience (e.g. internship or volunteer) in social media management, communications, digital marketing or content creation is a plus.

  • Passion for heritage: A genuine interest in cultural heritage, conservation, and sustainability.
  • Creativity: Innovative mindset with a willingness to experiment with new ideas and formats.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Cultural sensitivity: Understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures and perspectives.
