The President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Dr. Emeka Obegolu, has urged Nigerian entrepreneurs and business leaders to embrace the spirit of Easter as a time for renewal, reflection, and a renewed commitment to national economic development.
In his Easter message, Dr. Obegolu acknowledged the ongoing challenges confronting the Nigerian business landscape, including economic uncertainty, infrastructural deficits, and policy-related barriers. Despite these issues, he called on the private sector to remain resilient, innovative, and united in pursuing sustainable economic growth.
“Easter reminds us that new beginnings are possible. This is a season to reflect on our business goals and find fresh ways to create value, support each other, and drive sustainable growth,” he said.
Speaking also in his capacity as leader of the Organised Private Sector in the Federal Capital Territory, Dr. Obegolu reaffirmed ACCI’s commitment to supporting private enterprise through collaboration, advocacy, and initiatives aimed at enhancing SME competitiveness and attracting investment.
He encouraged business owners to use the Easter period as an opportunity to refocus, explore new ideas, and actively contribute to building an inclusive economy where small and growing businesses can flourish
