Telecoms giant Globacom has rewarded 19 of its subscribers with a total of ₦9.5 million in cash prizes in a recently concluded promotional campaign executed in partnership with Korrect Games. The campaign, named the Glo-Korrect Millionaire Award, was tailored to engage football enthusiasts while encouraging mobile gaming participation through the Korrect Predict platform.
The campaign featured a daily football prediction and trivia game where users could win airtime or cash prizes by predicting match outcomes. Exclusively open to active Glo subscribers, the initiative ended with a live draw broadcast on Korrect Games’ Instagram page. A total of 19 subscribers emerged winners: five walked away with ₦1 million each, four received ₦500,000 each, while 10 others got ₦100,000 each.
At an award presentation held at Globacom’s headquarters, winners received their cash prizes in the presence of company officials, media representatives, and guests. Organisers confirmed that all recipients had been contacted before the event. Several winners described the campaign as transparent and user-friendly, calling the rewards timely and impactful.
The Korrect Predict platform, developed by Korrect Games and supported by VDL Technologies, invites users to predict the outcomes of three football matches each day. Participants are rewarded even for partially correct entries, with airtime or cash prizes, while a daily trivia feature adds more opportunities for engagement.
According to organisers, the campaign was designed to celebrate customer loyalty, increase interaction with the Glo brand, and demonstrate how digital innovation can drive meaningful engagement in Nigeria’s expanding digital economy.
Representatives from Globacom and VDL Technologies said the initiative boosted participation and brand trust. A VDL Technologies spokesperson described the campaign as a demonstration of how digital engagement and reward-based mobile platforms can create lasting value for consumers.
Globacom has announced plans for more reward campaigns later in the year as part of broader efforts to enrich subscriber experience and deliver value-added services.
The Korrect Predict platform is accessible through the shortcode 70234# and is powered by Nigerian digital solutions provider VDL Technologies, which specialises in gamification, mobile content distribution, and consumer engagement.
