The Katsina Youth Climate Summit 2025 is calling for passionate, action-driven youth to step up and become official Summit Delegates. This is your opportunity to be part of a bold new chapter in climate action, led by young Nigerians who are ready to make real change happen at the grassroots and policy level.

Eligibility

They want young people who care—and who are ready to act.

If you are:

  • Between 18 and 35 years old
  • Based in Katsina State or working on climate/environmental issues in the region
  • A student, community organizer, researcher, entrepreneur, content creator, farmer, or activist
  • Committed to climate resilience, sustainability, or environmental justice

What You’ll Gain:

As a delegate, you’ll get more than just a seat in the room. You’ll walk away with:

  • Knowledge & Skills: Take part in interactive workshops, expert-led sessions, and hands-on training in climate advocacy, green innovation, environmental law, and policy engagement.
  • Networking & Visibility: Connect with other youth leaders, NGOs, researchers, media professionals, and government officials who are shaping climate discourse in Nigeria.
  • Leadership Opportunities: Join task forces, pitch climate solutions, and get access to future programs, funding opportunities, and collaborations beyond the summit.
  • Recognition: Receive an official Delegate Certificate and stand a chance to be featured as a Youth Climate Ambassador for Katsina State.

Summit Details:

  • Date: 20th – 21st August 2025
  • Location: Katsina State
  • Format: In-person (with select hybrid sessions)
