Are you a woman entrepreneur or aspiring business owner looking to grow your business, improve your digital skills, and access new opportunities?

Green Women Rising is a women-focused empowerment initiative by Triple Green Environmental Development Foundation (TGED Foundation), in partnership with ImpactHER, a pan-African nonprofit committed to bridging the gender business financing gap. Through this partnership, we are mobilising women-led businesses across Africa to access fully funded, high-quality online digital and entrepreneurial skills training delivered by ImpactHER.

This initiative forms part of TGED Foundation’s climate justice strategy — strengthening women’s resilience and business capacity in the face of climate and economic challenges.

This training is designed to help you:

  • Build your online presence
  • Develop strong business strategies
  • Become investor-ready
  • Strengthen your ability to adapt in a changing economic and climate landscape

Women in green, sustainable, and climate-smart businesses (e.g., agriculture, recycling, eco-products, or environmental services) are especially encouraged to apply — but all women-led businesses across Africa are welcome.

What You’ll Gain:

  • Fully funded virtual business and digital skills training
  • Certificate of completion by ImpactHER (participants must attend at least 90% of training sessions to be eligible)
  • Potential future exposure to TGED Foundation’s women-led enterprise initiatives

Eligibility:

  • You must identify as a woman and reside in any African country.
  • You must own (or aspire to start) a business.
  • You should have access to a smartphone, tablet, or computer with internet.
  • You must be willing to commit to attending virtual sessions over a period of one month.

Please note: The training will be delivered in English only.

 Key Details:

  • Training Duration: 1 Month
  • Application Deadline: August 30th, 2025
  • Training Start Date: September 2025 (exact date will be  communicated upon selection)

Complete this short form to express your interest.
Selected participants will be contacted with further information and onboarding and program start date details. Let’s rise together.

Deadline: August 30th, 2025
