The Bank of Industry (BoI) has partnered with Bumpa, a leading digital business management platform, to empower 200 youth-owned micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across Nigeria under a pilot phase of its youth and skills initiative.
The collaboration is aimed at addressing one of the most pressing challenges faced by young entrepreneurs limited market access by equipping them with digital tools and training to enhance productivity, streamline operations, and reach wider markets.
According to a statement announcing the partnership, the initiative will enable youth-owned businesses to digitise their operations, manage sales and inventory, and connect with customers using mobile technology helping them move away from manual record-keeping and offline transactions that often restrict growth and credit access.
In recognition of the vital role MSMEs play in job creation and national development, BoI will sponsor a six-month free subscription to Bumpa’s suite of business management tools for selected participants. The tools are expected to improve operational efficiency, strengthen sales performance, and promote long-term business sustainability.
By empowering young entrepreneurs with the knowledge and resources to thrive in the digital economy, the partnership aims to foster innovation, expand financial literacy, and accelerate inclusive economic growth across the country.
The initiative further reinforces BoI’s commitment to bridging structural gaps that hinder MSME development and strengthening its role as a catalyst for sustainable, technology-driven entrepreneurship in Nigeria.
