Applications are now open for the 100x Impact Accelerator Programme 2026–2027, a global initiative of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) designed to scale world-changing social ventures capable of transforming lives and systems worldwide.

About the Programme
100x Impact Accelerator supports mission-driven organisations, both for-profit and non-profit ,that are addressing some of the world’s most pressing challenges, including climate change, inequality, healthcare, migration, democracy, and education. Unlike traditional business accelerators focused on financial returns, 100x seeks “social unicorns”: ventures that can positively impact one billion lives through scalable and sustainable innovation.

Selected ventures will gain access to £150,000 in unrestricted grant funding, expert mentorship, and opportunities to connect with leading thinkers and investors from LSE’s global network. The programme is tailored to help participants scale their solutions, influence systems, and accelerate measurable impact.

Why It Matters
Many social innovators face the challenge of scaling their impact beyond pilot phases or local communities. The 100x Impact Accelerator bridges this gap by offering catalytic funding, mentorship, and a platform to refine growth models that can reshape markets and policies. For African and global changemakers alike, this is an opportunity to amplify solutions that address systemic issues and reach millions sustainably.

Eligibility
Applicants must:

  • Operate or be registered in any country.
  • Have a clear vision for reaching hundreds of millions of lives through a scalable intervention.
  • Demonstrate a credible path toward systems-level change — such as replication, open infrastructure, market transformation, or integration into public or private systems.
  • Deliver measurable impact in at least one of the following eight areas:
    • Climate and Environment
    • Democracy
    • Happiness and Wellbeing
    • Education
    • Equitable Economies
    • Health and Social Care
    • New Frontiers
    • Refugees and Cohesion
  • Be explicitly focused on social or environmental impact. Both for-profit and non-profit structures are welcome.
  • Organisations that previously applied but were not selected may reapply.

Programme Benefits

  • £150,000 in unrestricted grant funding.
  • Access to LSE’s academic and research expertise.
  • Bespoke accelerator support tailored to your venture’s growth model.
  • Networking opportunities with global investors, mentors, and policymakers.
  • Potential access to additional catalytic capital after completing the programme.

Tips for a Strong Application

  • Clearly define your social impact and explain how your model can reach millions.
  • Provide evidence of measurable results or a proof of concept.
  • Highlight your organisation’s readiness to scale.
  • Ensure your mission aligns with one or more of the programme’s eight focus areas.
  • Submit all required materials before the deadline to avoid disqualification.

Application Deadline: Monday, November 10, 2025, at 6:00 PM GMT
