Call For Applications: WeWork Green and Decent Jobs for Youth Project 2026: Funding & Support for Early-Stage Green Entrepreneurs in Africa

The WeWork Green and Decent Jobs for Youth Project 2026 is now open for applications—offering young African innovators the opportunity to scale environmentally responsible ventures through training, mentorship, and seed funding.

The program targets early-stage entrepreneurs who are building climate-positive businesses and want to strengthen their product, business model, and market readiness. Backed by the European Union, Belgium, Enabel, and implemented under the Global Gateway strategy, WeWork aims to empower youth to build sustainable livelihoods while supporting environmental protection and the circular economy.

Benefits of the WeWork Program

Selected entrepreneurs will receive:

  • Practical business training focused on green and circular economy ventures
  • Expert mentorship and coaching from industry leaders
  • Business development support to refine models and strengthen market positioning
  • Seed funding opportunities to scale validated solutions
  • Access to an incubation ecosystem through StartHub Africa
  • Visibility and networking with investors, partners, and climate-focused organizations

This comprehensive package is designed to help youth-led businesses grow sustainably while contributing to climate action in Africa.

Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)

The program is open to:

  • Young entrepreneurs aged 18–35
  • Founders running early-stage green or eco-friendly businesses
  • Ventures with a working prototype or clear proof of concept
  • Innovators developing solutions in:
    • Renewable energy
    • Circular economy
    • Recycling and waste management
    • Sustainable agriculture
    • Water and environmental conservation
    • Eco-friendly products and services
  • Applicants who are committed to building climate-smart, impact-driven ventures

If your business supports a cleaner, greener, more sustainable Africa, this initiative is built for you.

Program Duration

The WeWork Green & Decent Jobs Project is a 24-month initiative, providing long-term, practical support that goes beyond short bootcamps or challenges.

Deadline

Applications are currently open for the 2026 cycle. Dec 19, 2025 — early applications are strongly encouraged.)
