A digital financial services company, Branch NG, has donated laptops, personal healthcare items and educational materials to students of Sceptre Comprehensive College, Alapere, Lagos, as part of efforts to promote digital inclusion and student development.
The initiative is aimed at improving access to digital tools, supporting learning outcomes and enhancing the overall well-being of students, particularly in underserved communities.
Speaking during the presentation, the Managing Director of Branch NG, Dayo Odulate-Ademola, said the intervention reflects the company’s commitment to education, financial inclusion and long-term social impact.
She explained that the donation was designed to address gaps in digital access and basic personal care resources, while creating an enabling environment for students to learn and thrive in an increasingly technology-driven world.
Also speaking, the Head of People Operations at Branch Nigeria, Emmanuela Ekanem, said the initiative aligns with the organisation’s culture of service and community investment.
According to her, access to digital devices and essential learning materials plays a critical role in building students’ confidence and equipping them with relevant skills for the future.
Branch NG noted that the donation forms part of its broader corporate social responsibility efforts focused on digital literacy, youth development and empowering communities through access to essential resources.
