MTN Nigeria Foundation has opened applications for Phase 7 of its ICT and Business Skills Training Program, a youth-focused initiative designed to equip young micro business owners with digital, ICT and entrepreneurial skills to grow and sustain their ventures. The programme includes training, masterclasses, expert insights, and equipment grants as part of long-term business support.

Program Overview

The training is delivered over five weeks with a blended learning format: self-paced online modules, instructor-led sessions, and masterclasses with industry experts. Participants also receive data support to ensure seamless online learning.

In this 7th phase, approximately 6,000 micro business owners will be selected to participate, and the top 600 participants will be eligible for equipment grants drawn from a ₦300 million pool to help scale their operations.

Who Should Apply (Eligibility)

To qualify for the programme, applicants must:

✔ Be a Nigerian citizen aged 18–35 years
✔ Own and manage a micro business that has been operating for no more than two years
✔ Have a business located in any of the following states:
• Abuja (FCT)
• Bauchi
• Bayelsa
• Enugu
• Ondo
• Plateau
• Sokoto
• Taraba

Selected applicants are provided with data bundles to ensure they can fully participate in online modules without barriers to connectivity.

💰 Equipment Grants (₦300 Million Pool)

The top 600 performers from the training receive equipment grants drawn from a ₦300 million fund, supporting tools and infrastructure needed to grow their businesses.

  2. Confirm you meet the eligibility criteria above.
  3. Complete the online form with your personal and business details.
  4. Submit before the application deadline listed on the MTN Foundation site.

Applications are free and conducted fully online.
