The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has announced a new strategic collaboration with Afreximbank and Autodex Nigeria Limited to accelerate agricultural innovation and improve market access for Nigerian MSMEs operating across the agricultural value chain.
The initiative was disclosed during the second edition of the Farm, Food, and Allied Technology (FARMFATECH) Expo 2025 in Abuja, where stakeholders reaffirmed their commitment toward building stronger trade channels with China and other global partners to support growth, scale, and competitiveness for local agribusinesses.
Speaking on behalf of the ACCI President, Emeka Obegolu, the Director General of the Chamber, Agabaidu Jideani, said the partnership will drive knowledge transfer, unlock access to new technologies, and position Nigerian farmers and agro-led MSMEs to compete more effectively within regional and international markets.
“This year’s Expo builds upon the success of its inaugural edition and reinforces our mission to create sustainable capacity-building and global collaboration capable of transforming agriculture and food systems in Nigeria,” he said.
The FARMFATECH Expo 2025 is scheduled to take place at the Velodrome of the National Stadium, Abuja, and is expected to host over 500 exhibitors, 76 participating countries, and an estimated 500,000 visitors over three days.
According to the organizers, the expo will serve as a major platform to deepen trade opportunities, accelerate agricultural adoption of technology, and open new investment pathways for MSMEs in processing, production, packaging, mechanization, equipment supply, and export.
The collaboration is expected to strengthen the role of MSMEs in driving innovation across Nigeria’s agricultural sector, while also expanding linkages between Nigeria’s agribusiness ecosystem and emerging global networks.
