Aemi Premium has partnered with Wema Bank and Providus Bank to scale access to cleaner and more reliable solar power solutions for households and businesses across Nigeria, offering flexible financing support to promote energy access and reduce dependence on fuel-powered generators.
The collaboration was unveiled during the official launch of Aemi Premium in Lagos, where the company showcased its range of AMP Solar products, including branded solar panels, inverters, lithium batteries with up to 10 years’ warranty, energy-efficient appliances, security cameras, and smart home locks.
Chief Executive Officer Samuel Williams said the initiative is aimed at bridging Nigeria’s power deficit through sustainable alternatives. “More than 92 million of our people still do not have access to guaranteed power. Even those who do must depend on costly, noisy, and polluting generators,” he stated. “Today, we stand at the dawn of a new era powered by innovation, sustainability, and partnership, committed to driving access to clean, reliable, and affordable energy.”
Williams noted that beyond stable electricity, solar offers environmental gains and job creation potential across installation, repairs, and distribution providing new economic opportunities for local technicians and MSMEs.
Relationship Manager at Providus Bank, Onetoritsebawo Adejumo, said the bank’s support will ensure customers especially SMEs are not excluded due to limited capital. “Providus Bank supports SMEs and businesses through low-interest financing schemes, and this is one of the ways we power businesses to grow,” she said.
As part of the brand rollout, Aemi Premium also unveiled Dr. Oluwakemisola Ogunleye, popularly known as Kem Realtor, as its brand ambassador to deepen public connection and drive national adoption.
The company which has recorded successful operations in The Gambia says it intends to replicate the same results in Nigeria, producing products locally engineered for Nigerian environments while maintaining European standards.
With this partnership, Aemi Premium says it hopes to push cleaner energy access to scale nationwide, supporting households, entrepreneurs, and small businesses seeking stable power without the cost burden of fuel-based generators.
