The Association of Esan Professionals (AEP) has announced an initiative named the Vocational Skills Empowerment Project, intending to empower 200 Esan youths with essential vocational skills, startup capital, and valuable mentorship.
According to the AEP President, Mr. Henry Egbiki, and Emmanuel Ogbebor, General Secretary/Chairman of the Project Committee, this project aims to shape the future of Esan youths by nurturing their talents and helping them harness their skills effectively.
The two-year project aims to impact the lives of 200 youths, selecting 100 annually from each of Esanland’s five Local Government Areas. These selected youths will receive financial support to acquire necessary tools and equipment to kickstart their vocational trades.
Furthermore, the initiative offers comprehensive mentorship and coaching on vital aspects of business management and entrepreneurship. By receiving guidance from experienced mentors, the beneficiaries will be better prepared to navigate the challenges that come with starting a business or trade.
The AEP emphasizes a holistic approach, ensuring the long-term sustainability and success of the ventures established through this empowering initiative.
Egbiki highlighted that this project marks a significant investment in the future of Esanland, providing young boys and girls with an opportunity to shape their destinies, build businesses, and contribute to a more vibrant and prosperous community. The association envisions transforming the lives of Esanland’s youths by imparting vocational skills, knowledge, and vital entrepreneurial support.
