African Franchise Institute will be hosting a webinar with the theme Franchising & Building Global Business Expansion system on July 7, 2020 by 12 noon.
The session will feature experts in Franchise and Business expansion including Chiagozie Nwizu – Managing Director of Franchise Business Development Services (FBDS), Margaret Constantaras – Founder, Research EQ South Africa, Foluso Ogunwale – CEO and Founder of Ifitness and Obinna Ukachukwu – Divisional Head, Health & Education, Sterling Bank PLC.
Talking about the rationale for the webinar, AFI stated “There is a major concern that second generation businesses among Nigeria’s 37 million enterprises can be counted on the fingers and more than 80% of Nigerian startups are certain to fail before their fifth year.
“Franchising has been instrumental to optimizing and replicating successful business models into new businesses and providing support systems for them to grow and thrive under large successful brands.
“Many local and foreign successful brands like SLOT, House of Tara, Re/Max, KFC, Krispy Kreme, Pizza hut, Domino’s Pizza, have come to understand the concept of franchising and have built standard operating systems and business models.”
This session will explore topic such as :Introducing the franchise concept as a tool for business system standardization, global expansion and revenue growth, Learning and development for business leaders to acquire skills and competencies required to improve access to finance and guidelines on how proven businesses can obtain support to start their own franchising programmes to expand their business
Participants will also be able to interact and ask questions about franchising and how to put it into practice during the webinar.
