Agribusiness E-Academy Funding Programme 2025 – Applications Open (Up to €2,000 + Mentorship for Emerging Agripreneurs)
Share

In many African, Caribbean, and Pacific (ACP) countries, agriculture remains the backbone of local economies — yet many promising micro and small agribusinesses still lack the skills, tools, and support they need to grow.

The Agribusiness e-Academy is here to change that. With over 55,000 MSME learners already enrolled and building their skills, this initiative is now inviting young and emerging agripreneurs to transform their ideas into investment-ready, climate-smart ventures capable of attracting funding and driving sustainable food systems.

Programme Overview
The Agribusiness e-Academy funding programme supports innovative business ideas that strengthen agricultural value chains, enhance inclusivity (especially for women and youth), promote sustainability, and increase profitability. Participants will turn their knowledge from free online courses into viable business plans and compete for funding, mentorship, and growth support.

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must:

  • Be 18 years or older.
  • Reside in a member state of the Organisation of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States (OACPS).
  • Work within one or more of the following value chains: cocoa, maize, cashew, or livestock (cattle, sheep, goats).
  • Have an innovative idea that improves inclusivity, sustainability, and profitability in the targeted value chains.
  •  Complete the mandatory Agribusiness e-Academy courses.
  • Participation is completely free of charge, including all required e-learning courses.

Benefits
Winners of the Agribusiness e-Academy funding competition will receive:

  • €2,000 in direct funding to support and scale their agribusiness.
  • A laptop, tablet, or software to improve business operations.
  • Expert mentorship, training, and incubation support from industry professionals.
  • Connections to financial institutions that can help grow the business further.

Beyond financial support, this programme equips agripreneurs with the tools to attract investors, adopt climate-resilient practices, and contribute to sustainable food systems and rural livelihoods.

Competition Timeline
The competition is divided into three submission windows:

  • Window 1: 15 September – 7 November 2025
  • Window 2: 1 February – 30 April 2026
  • Window 3: 1 June – 31 August 2026
