The Ashmusy Foundation launched its Boss Up Empowerment Event at Lagos’ Vintano Hotel on October 27, 2024, awarding ₦500,000 and essential business equipment to 10 women entrepreneurs. The event, spearheaded by Dr. Amarachi Amusi (Ashmusy), aims to fuel growth in sectors like fashion, beauty, and content creation.

The recipients, including Adakwu Oluchukwu Cromwell of The Virgin Flaurel and Sylla Nbalu of Puritys Kitchen, received industry-specific tools like sewing machines, filming kits, and kitchenware to help expand their operations. Speakers Uche Ogbodo and Anita Joseph shared insights on resilience and the vital role of women in Nigeria’s economy.

Dr. Amusi highlighted the broader mission, stating, “Beyond grants, the event offered mentorship and networking opportunities. By investing in these women, we’re investing in a brighter future for Nigeria.”
