Bank and Entrepreneur (B&E), a niche publication, has introduced the #ItsToughEnough Programme, an online initiative aimed at leveraging the expertise of world-leading entrepreneurial experts to guide Africans from the idea or no-idea stage to becoming viable business owners. The campaign particularly focuses on empowering Nigerian women who are already engaged in entrepreneurship and encouraging others to consider entrepreneurship.
Anne N. Agbakoba, the publisher of Bank and Entrepreneur Africa, emphasized the publication’s commitment to contributing to Nigeria’s vibrancy and greatness by supporting various pillars of government efforts. This includes igniting an entrepreneurial boom, increasing the percentage of women entrepreneurs, and achieving high rankings on both the Global Competitiveness and Human Development Indices.
The #ItsToughEnough initiative will collaborate with experts, starting with Marc Goldberg, founder of Marc Goldberg Photography, and Precious L. Williams, founder of Perfect Pitches with Precious. Goldberg will share insights on starting and growing a successful photography business, while Williams, known as the #KillerPitchMaster, will focus on persuading potential clients that a business is the only option that truly matters.
The initiative aims to empower Africans, recognizing the continent’s immense capacity to emerge as a viable, successful, developing, and emerging economy. The first set of partnerships with entrepreneurial experts signifies a step toward fostering entrepreneurship in Nigeria and contributing to its economic growth.
