Business Matters Incubators (BMI) Launches Entrepreneurship Program for Young Entrepreneurs
Share

Business Matters Incubators (BMI) is set to ignite the entrepreneurial spirit among young minds with its upcoming catch-them-young program, scheduled to take place in Lagos next weekend. This initiative aims to groom young entrepreneurs and equip them with the skills and mindset needed for success in the business world.

Nnamdi Nnachukwu, a Senior Consultant with BMI, emphasized the organization’s commitment to nurturing young talents and grooming them for excellence. He highlighted BMI as a hub where young entrepreneurs receive training and mentorship to become future business leaders.

The BMI academy offers a structured curriculum designed to ignite creativity, foster problem-solving skills, and instill an innovative mindset in participants. Through interactive learning experiences, including videos, quizzes, and reading materials, young entrepreneurs aged 8 to 14 years old are equipped with the foundational knowledge and skills necessary for entrepreneurship.

Henrietta Onwuegbuzie, an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Management at Lagos Business School, underscored the importance of entrepreneurship education in today’s society. She emphasized the need for a shift in the curriculum to prioritize entrepreneurship and equip students with the skills to become job creators rather than job seekers.

Onwuegbuzie highlighted the role of entrepreneurs as problem-solvers and solution providers, emphasizing that providing solutions to real-world problems is the quickest path to success. She applauded BMI’s initiative to instill entrepreneurship skills at a young age, emphasizing that teaching entrepreneurship should begin early to empower young individuals to create opportunities for themselves and others.

In conclusion, BMI’s catch-them-young program signifies a proactive approach to fostering entrepreneurship among the youth, empowering them to become agents of change and innovation in society. By providing early exposure to entrepreneurship education and mentorship, BMI aims to cultivate a new generation of visionary leaders and problem-solvers poised to make a positive impact on the world.
