Call For Applications: AfCFTA National Youth Champions Fellowship 2025

The AfCFTA National Youth Champions Fellowship is a flagship Pan-African initiative by the African Center for Youth Development, Education and Advocacy Initiative designed to empower young leaders, entrepreneurs, and trade advocates with the knowledge, skills, and network needed to actively participate in the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

This high-impact fellowship program provides selected participants with:

  • Comprehensive Training on AfCFTA policies, trade facilitation, and economic integration.
  • Mentorship & Networking with trade experts, policymakers, and business leaders.
  • Community Engagement Opportunities to implement trade advocacy projects.
  • Access to Digital Trade & Business Resources to leverage AfCFTA benefits.
  • Certificate of Completion awarded at the end of the training.
  • AfCFTA Champion Lapel and Award Frame (Optional).

  • Expert-Led Workshops & Discussions
  • Capstone Project Implementation
  • Certification & Alumni Network Integration

Eligibility

  • They welcome applications from young Africans aged 18-45
  • Entrepreneurs and business owners looking to expand through intra-African trade.
  • Policy advocates and researchers focusing on trade development & economic policies.
  • Digital innovators, fintech experts, and youth involved in e-commerce & cross-border trade.
  • Aspiring trade leaders eager to drive trade conversations & policy engagement in their communities.
