Applications are now open for the AICA × DataCamp Donates Scholarship 2026/27, a fully funded opportunity providing African learners with six months of free access to DataCamp’s premium learning platform, valued at over $399. This initiative is designed to equip Africans with globally competitive skills in data science, artificial intelligence, and analytics, helping to bridge the continent’s digital skills gap.

About the AICA × DataCamp Scholarship

The scholarship is a partnership between AI Community Africa (AICA) and DataCamp Donates. It aims to empower students, tech enthusiasts, and young professionals across Africa with high-quality, industry-relevant digital training. Selected participants gain access to expert-led courses, hands-on projects, certifications, and career tools that prepare them for high-demand tech roles globally.

Why This Scholarship Matters

The AICA × DataCamp Scholarship provides African learners with access to the same training used by top global companies in AI, machine learning, fintech, cloud computing, and business intelligence. These fields are among the fastest-growing and highest-paying in the global job market, making this programme a strong foundation for long-term career growth and financial stability.

Learning Areas Covered

Participants can build skills in data analysis, data science, data engineering, machine learning engineering, AI for beginners and intermediate learners, business analytics, cloud data tools, Python programming, and SQL.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be based in Africa and show interest in data science, machine learning, Python, analytics, or related fields.
  • Candidates must demonstrate commitment to completing the six-month learning programme, provide basic personal and educational information, and complete all required application questions.
  • No academic degree or prior tech experience is required, and beginners are encouraged to apply.

Benefits

  • Selected applicants will receive six months of full premium access to DataCamp’s learning platform.
  • This includes over 400 structured courses taught by global experts, hands-on projects for portfolio building, access to DataCamp Workspace, certifications, and a job board.
  • Learners will also benefit from practice assessments to track progress, community support from AI Community Africa, and training designed to prepare them for remote tech jobs and high-income data roles.
