BCON SFSI Digital & Business Skills Empowerment Initiative

Straight from School Initiative (SFSI) is a program created to empower young individuals with digital and business skills so that they can thrive in the marketplace and global space. SFSI is open and now accepting participants for the third cohort in 2020. SFSI is for university students and graduates. SFSI is a 5-week programme made up of intense learning and group work.

SFSI is not just another platform. It is a movement. It is a community of bright African young minds that are determined to learn and position themselves for opportunities. They are the exceptional youths in the society that are paving the way for a brighter tomorrow. They are people who have been trained to look out for solutions to problems in the society.

Benefits

EMPOWERMENT:

Every SFSI graduate gets to learn important skills in the market place so that they can start a business on their own or be employable.

JOB CREATION:

From getting the right skills, they either create jobs or take part in developing businesses that boost the country’s economy.

ELIMINATE POVERTY:

These jobs help them stay off the street, contribute to their families, dream big, build or contribute to businesses and live the life of their dreams.

SFSI ALUMNI NETWORK:

When the program is over, students graduate to join the alumni network where they get further mentorship on life,career and business.

SFSI CAMPUS AMBASSADOR:

This is the highest badge in the SFSI program and is not available to just anyone. Only those who have gone through the program, graduated and have joined the alumni network can be accepted when they apply. Acceptance is strictly based on character and commitment shown towards personal growth.
