ECOPRIZE Challenge: Recognizing Youth-Led Sustainable Innovations

Are you a young innovator with a passion for sustainability? The ECOPRIZE Challenge is now open for applications! This exciting opportunity is aimed at recognizing and supporting youth-led sustainable innovations.

The Challenge is an integral part of the Digital and Sustainability Experience (DSE), Africa’s biggest youth-led conference on sustainability and digital transformation, scheduled for June 14-15, 2024.

The ECOPRIZE aims to recognize youth-led sustainable innovations and provide opportunities to amplify young people’s creative ideas for sustainability and digital transformation.

Here’s everything you need to know to participate:

Eligibility

  • Age Range: Open to individuals or teams aged between 18 and 30.
  • Innovation Focus: Your project should address sustainability challenges.

How to Apply

  1. Pitch Video: Submit a 1-minute pitch video that clearly outlines your innovation.
  2. Summary: Provide a concise summary of your innovation, highlighting its impact and sustainability.

Important Dates

  • Submission Deadline: May 26, 2024, at 11:59 PM (GMT).

Event Details

  • Final Pitch: Finalists will be invited to present their innovations live at DSE 2024, Africa’s biggest youth-led conference on sustainability and digitalization.
  • Awards: Winners will be recognized and awarded at the event.
