The Federal Ministry of Information is thrilled to announce the ECOWAS Cybersecurity Hackathon, a Capture the Flag (CTF) competition organised by the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the host Nigeria.

The ECOWAS Cybersecurity Hackathon offers an excellent opportunity for beginners and seasoned professionals to immerse into the world of cybersecurity, learn new skills, and network with fellow enthusiasts.

We are thrilled to announce the ECOWAS Cybersecurity Hackathon, a Capture the Flag (CTF) competition organised by ECOWAS and the host Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy and in collaboration with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).

Member states are encouraged to participate and showcase their brightest minds in this competition. All talented individuals and teams are invited to join this exhilarating competition.

Demonstrate your expertise, collaborate with peers, and push the boundaries of cybersecurity. Be part of the talent pool driving the security of cyberspace for your country and West Africa as a whole.

Eligibility Requirements 

To be considered for the 2024 ECOWAS Cybersecurity Hackathon, you must be West African and be part of a team.
