Share

The EduSpots Youth Ambassadors Programme is a six-month program that engages dedicated and influential youth worldwide, with the capacity to advocate, fundraise, and collect resources towards sustainable community-led educational change.

Youth Ambassadors will actively promote EduSpots’ mission online, within their networks, and on campus, lead resource mobilization events, advocate for EduSpots, and contribute to their transformative educational programs.

With a structured curriculum intended to develop your skills, this program will include sharing EduSpots’ impact, work, and opportunities online, leading educational resource collections for their existing Spots, promoting their free online courses, leading fundraising events, and giving talks on EduSpots’ work to your classmates, alongside other areas linked to your skills. You will quickly see the impact of your work upon their Spot communities – note that this opportunity is not about you creating a new Spot or volunteering in their Spots.

Eligibility

  • Be 18 years to 35 years old;
  • Enrolled or completed tertiary education;
  • A self-starter with the ability to lead a resource collection or fundraiser for EduSpots;
  • Passionate about education, volunteerism, and social change and development;
  • Strong IT skills (familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and social media);
  • Excellent team player;
  • Great writing and/or advocacy skills;
  • Canva design skills (desirable);
  • Ability to commit 4 hours per week (spread across the week).

Benefits

  • Becoming an EduSpots Youth Ambassador is a unique opportunity for individuals to contribute meaningfully to their mission while nurturing personal and professional growth. In this fully remote and unpaid role, ambassadors will make a tangible impact by gaining insights into education and development from first-hand access to inspirational stories from EdoSpots’ active network of 250 volunteers in hard-to-reach communities.
  • Additionally, ambassadors will enjoy benefits such as social media recognition, receive exclusive branded materials upon achieving key milestones, and gain free access to online courses among other benefits.

Application Process

This opportunity will enable you to make a direct impact on educational equity and it is perfect work experience to strengthen your CV, gain experience in the charity and education sectors, and work alongside committed youth ambassadors from across the world.
