Call for Applications: eHealth Africa H1 2026 All-Female Internship Program (Fully Paid Opportunity for Women in Health and Tech)
Share

eHealth Africa (eHA) has opened applications for its first-ever All-Female Internship Program for the first half of 2026. This unique initiative is designed to equip young women with practical skills, professional experience, and leadership training to help them excel in global health and technology.

About the Program
The internship program aims to build a stronger pipeline of women professionals driving change across Africa’s health and innovation sectors. Participants will gain real-world exposure to impactful projects, guided mentorship from experienced leaders, and an opportunity to contribute to eHA’s mission of improving healthcare delivery through technology and data-driven solutions.

Why It Matters
In many African countries, women remain underrepresented in health tech leadership roles. This program addresses that gap by giving women hands-on opportunities to lead, learn, and innovate. It helps build confidence, enhances employability, and supports gender inclusion in the workplace—key factors that contribute to economic growth and equitable development.

Available Internship Roles

  • Operations Engineering
  • Program Delivery
  • Procurement & Asset Management
  • Business Development
  • Operations (Facility)
  • Communications
  • Internal Audit
  • ICT Services
  • Impact Measurement (M&E)
  • GIS/Data Analytics
  • Operations (EOC)

Eligibility
Applicants must:

  • Be female and a graduate or student in career transition.
  • Hold a degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Have at least 1–2 years of experience (advantageous but not mandatory).
  • Possess a valid NYSC certificate (Completion, Exemption, or Exclusion).
  • Have graduated not earlier than 2021.
  • Apply for only one department — multiple applications lead to disqualification.

Benefits

  • Paid internship with hands-on experience in global health and technology.
  • Direct mentorship from top professionals.
  • Opportunities to build leadership, analytical, and technical skills.
  • Exposure to real-world projects that impact lives across Africa.

Documents Required

  • Updated CV and cover letter (upload under “Upload Your Resume”).
  • A single PDF file containing academic/professional certificates, NYSC certificate, and valid ID (upload under “Add Additional Documents”).

Tips for Registration

  • Review all listed departments carefully before selecting your preferred one.
  • Ensure all documents are complete and clearly scanned before uploading.
  • Tailor your cover letter to show passion for health and technology.
  • Submit early to avoid last-minute errors.

Applications are open now on the official eHealth Africa career portal:
