Call For Applications: FCMB HERCCELERATE Accelerator Program ( N 1.5 million Equity-Free Funding, Knowledge & Resources, and Access to Potential Investors)

SheVentures, FCMB’s women-focused business division, and FCMB’s innovation hub, Hub One, presents HERCCELERATE. This accelerator program is designed to position early-stage, high-potential women-led technology startups in Nigeria for investments and rapid growth.

HERCCELERATE aims to provide selected female founders with coaching, grant funding, technological tools and access to potential investors. Up to 40 women-led tech startups will be selected to participate in this inaugural edition of HERCCELERATE. Over the next five years, our goal is to empower up to 200 women-led tech startups.

HERCCELERATE 1.0 will run over an 5-week period and culminate in a Demo Day where 5 finalists will pitch to an esteemed jury for a chance to win grants and other prizes.

Program timeline

  • Calls for applications: September 6th – September 30th
  • Assessment and selection of participants for the accelerator: September 30th – October 11th
  • Acceleration program: October 14th – November 15th (5 weeks)
  • Demo Day: November 29th/30th
